A Temple City man might be responsible for a series of construction site burglaries across the city, according to police. Adam Doty, 28, was arrested earlier today when authorities watching a construction site in Temple City stopped him as he drove away from the area. Doty was found in possession of several construction tools with markings on them that indicated they belonged to someone else. The man was arrested and booked under the suspicion of grand theft and possession of burglary tools and is being held on $20,000 bail. Police notified the men of the construction sites that have been robbed and were told to contact a detective at the Temple City Police Department to get their merchandise back. However, in order to get their stuff back, they must have proof that the equipment belongs to them. Police have not released a motive for the suspect and have not said whether or not the suspect was planning on selling the equipment or just keeping it for personal use.
